Emma Coro

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Emma Coro is a Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist Intern (MFT-I) at Live Happy Counseling working with individuals, adolescents, families, and clients from every walk of life. She specializes in maternal mental health, trauma informed care, adoption, feminist theory, and existential theory. Emma has also taken advanced courses in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, American Counseling Association, and the National Society of Leadership and Success.

In Emma’s life before receiving her Master of Science in Counseling in Marriage and Family Therapy, she spent over a decade as a cosmetologist and then working as a case manager with adjudicated youth. She has a calling to help others and work with their strengths to overcome life’s challenges. She likes to practice from an eclectic perspective in her therapy work, so she can meet each client’s individual needs.
