Laura Deitsch, MS, DHS
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
My clients seek to gain interpersonal skills, relationship strategies, insight into harmful behaviors and improved communication habits. I work well with individuals grappling with identity crises, sexuality issues and unstable moods. My philosophy empowers clients to seek and implement their own solutions, with guidance and encouragement from me. I will help you set goals, devise strategies to be successful and then work to steer the course of your efforts. I have worked with individuals struggling with identity, trauma, anxiety, grief and loss, as well as several other mental health issues.
I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor. I earned a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from UNLV in 2011, as well as a doctorate of human sexuality from the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco in 2015. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a sexual health educator for Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains for 15 years in Las Vegas.
