Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Elizabeth is licensed in the state of Nevada as a Marriage, and Family Therapist. Through her experience in becoming a therapist she has worked with clients in a variety of settings.

Elizabeth’s introduction to mental health began after her completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. After graduation she spent time working in a residential treatment facility for at risk youth specifically adolescent sexual offenders working on rehabilitation. Elizabeth then moved to Las Vegas for a change of scenery and completed her Masters’ degree at the University of Phoenix Las Vegas Campus where she earned her Masters in Marriage, Family, and Child therapy.

After graduation Elizabeth chose to pursue opportunities in the mental health field prior to obtaining her internship license including working at an acute psychiatric hospital In Las Vegas where she worked in Intake and mobile assessment, Marketing, and then on the floor as a clinician once an approved intern. At the hospital Elizabeth worked on specialized units with populations including active duty military, military dependents, first responders, as well as people struggling with addictions.

Elizabeth has a certification in Somatic Psychotherapy for trauma that she used at the hospital for 28-day trauma based programming. Elizabeth continues to implement somatic work in her therapy sessions to help people connect in a holistic way with their body, thoughts and emotions to process and heal.  Elizabeth transitioned full time into outpatient therapy to help work on longer term therapy with clients as they pursue personal growth and life fulfillment. Elizabeth enjoys working with clients as individuals, as well as couples, and families. Elizabeth uses a variety of approaches to help her clients pursue their goals, and achieve personal growth for a fuller more balanced life.
